Project Overview
Designing a Efficient and Secure Access Management Solution
Small and medium-sized financial institutions face significant challenges in managing access control. While they are required to ensure security and compliance, their access management processes are often heavily manual, leading to inefficiencies, errors for IT administrators.
Our project aims to develop a solution that balances security with efficiency and usability. The goal is to create a user-friendly tool tailored specifically for IT administrators in these institutions, streamlining their workflow and reducing the risks and burdens associated with manual processes.
Delivery
Improved the permission assignment process, achieving a 95% Task Success Rate, enhancing security and compliance, and reducing Task Completion Time by 20%.
1. Enhanced the permission assign process to ensure accuracy and leveraging integrated information to minimize user effort.
2. Designed an auto-tracking request log that document changes of access request, approval, and removal, making it easy to review and provide compliance evidence for audits.
Takeaway
I gained valuable experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and adapting to feedback, which helped refine the design and ensure the successful delivery of the project.
